Kairos Mentor Team
The Kairos Mentor Team consists of Affiliate Professors appointed by Kairos University (USA) who accompany doctoral researchers throughout their PhD journey. Several of these mentors are members of the IBR academic community and are made available to Kairos University for this purpose.
While they serve professionally within IBR, their academic appointment and mentoring responsibilities are held under Kairos University, and they act as part of the official Kairos mentor team guiding PhD researchers.
The team is international in composition, with members based in South Africa, Israel, and Hungary, bringing together a wealth of research experience and intercultural perspectives. Most combine more than 20 years of senior leadership in industry and executive roles with extensive doctoral supervision and research collaboration across global universities.
These Affiliate Professors of Kairos University are passionate about mentoring postgraduate researchers and take joy in accompanying them throughout their doctoral journey—helping them create research that contributes to innovation, ethical leadership, and human flourishing.
André is an incredible asset to IBR’s faculty, promoting academic scientific and social research, which always aims at a maximum value transfer into society. With three PhDs and exposure to global business from the East to the West and North to the South for most of his life, we are thankful for having him as research professor. He is part of IBRs operations and digital leadership group.
Andreas is one of the pioneers in for work-integrated learning in IBR. He is passionate about teaching strategic management and creation of new ventures in turbulent and unpredictable times. He is a member of IBR’s international management, strategy and transformation, and marketing group.
Jannie is a very inspirational leader and mentor in class. He redefines human resources from being about roles and departments to developing own management skills for the sake of the team. Jannie is part of IBRs human resource group.
Suzaan has joined the IBR faculty to strengthen its research capacity. She has an incredible passion for students and seeing their success in making the world a better place through research. She is part of IBRs operations and digital transformation group.
Janos has received the highest accolades for teaching finance in our master programmes around the world. He is a great asset to IBR’s finance group.
