In the German economy, the success of innovation is systematically built around SME’s, the Mittelstand companies and family owned businesses that permanently create new market niches based on innovation. These are companies that quietly operate, expand and run ahead of competition because of innovation. Interestingly, customers are ready to pay a premium for their products and services because of the quality of the problem solutions.

In doing so we believe that they can grow their businesses, offer products and services that are superior over competition and become world leaders in their specific niche market segments. Our task as professors is to coach and mentor them and nurture their businesses during the two years study time.
