The IBR MBA diploma is recognised internationally. This is due to the fact that:

1. the IBR MBA Diploma is a State recognised postgraduate Master Degree which is awarded by a state recognised university. This has been approved twice: (1) by the Senate of Education and Science in Berlin, and (2) by the German Accreditation Council (Deutscher Akkreditierungsrat).

2. the IBR MBA programme not only corresponds to international accreditation standards, its quality has been accredited by an international independent top accreditation body (FIBAA) which is on a par with the AACSB and AMBA as the world leading accreditation agencies.

3. the IBR MBA diploma corresponds to the educational standards set by the European Ministers of Education in the Declaration of Sorbonne and Bologna as a mandatory prerequisite for the mutual recognition of diplomas in Europe.

In summary, the IBR MBA is an university degree, which has been approved in accordance with German legislation by the Senate of Berlin. By that it is recognised in Germany, in the European Union, and all countries with Germany has diplomatic relations.

Foreign students of IBR work and live in different countries. Most of them do not want to leave the senior positions they enjoy in their home countries. However, being enrolled in IBR Institute of International Business Relations at Steinbeis University Berlin, graduates are eligible for a State recognised post-graduate university diploma (Master Degree) upon successful completion of the programme.
